About Me
Tammy Fisher is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist specializing in relationship issues, couple's conflict and teen issues.
With several years of experience as a marriage and family therapist and as a graduate of Texas State University - San Marcos, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her other areas of expertise are helping parents and teens get along, parenting, anger management, grief and loss, and issues relating to divorce.
In addition to being a relationship therapist, Tammy has presented at teacher staff trainings, local conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of effective parenting, divorces of couples with children and ADHD issues.
Tammy is an interactive, problem solving therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates Gottman Method Couples Therapy with family strengths, family history and therapeutic techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
